This was one of the first images I took with my mew 50mm fixed focal length lens. I love it, mainly because of the depth of field I can get by going down to f1.8. the only problem is that it's manual focus only on the nikon body I have -- although, that just adds a challenge that will ultimately make me better at photography, I feel.
